Every libertarian has a different story about how they came to believe in limited government and, as a result, more individual freedom. Most were former “statists” (a term describing people who wanted more government in their lives) in that they either had their views aligned with the liberal or conservative ideology.
This video shows the story of a former U.S. Marine and how he grew up with Democrat parents, went from there to neoconservative Republican, and then he ultimately rejected the two party system and supported liberty. His story is interesting to hear and it encourages people to think about their own political views.
